Happy Birthday Southern Gamer

They grow up so fast… it seems like only yesterday that Southern Gamer was but a twinkle in my eye, and idea I had been toying around with for a couple of years, and although I might not have completely followed through with my original plans or expanded it as much as I would have liked, I’m still proud of this hallmark.  Yeah, I may not get that many pageviews per day, but I’m still doing this for mostly my own gratification and improvement.  I would of course be honored to one day host Southern Gamer as a community hub, but until then, I’ll appreciate the few sporatic interactions and comments that I do get.

I meant to do a brief synopsis on my thoughts about Shadow Complex, Splosion Man, and Shatter tonight – and I even considered trying to get a crew together to record the long overdue (if unasked for) episode of Twang, but it shall have to wait.

Until then, enjoy my (hopefully) daily excursions into gaming news that I feel is worthy of reporting in my new L3 (Luncheon Link Liasion) column.  Oh, and blow a candle out for my little pride-and-joy, would you?
