Short post today – just a few things to talk about.
First of all, welcome to Chris Mitchell, our newest guest columnist, editor, writer, game enthusiast all of the above. His first article on shopping around the used game market for those old gems that you might have missed the first time around (which you can read below) is really great, and it just so happens to dovetail nicely with an article I’m currently working on. Awesome job reading my mind Chris!
Secondly, the Left 4 Dead Survival Pack is now out on Xbox Live. It’s a free download which adds a Survival mode (which is ludicrously hard, as I can attest to from my five minutes playing it on my lunch break) and also opens up the other two campaigns in Versus mode.
Thirdly, but definitely not least-ly, Drawl – The Southern Gamer Forum (get the post title now… 4um… see… ahh, 4get it) is now live and anxiously awaiting your input. I know there were a few of you that had accounts set up on the old site, so if you would be so kind as to sign up again on the forum, it would be much appreciated. And if you’re new here, please sign up for the first time and post! I really want to get in there and interact with you guys. (I’m having a little trouble getting the link to appear in the Navigation area to the top and left… so for now, just click the link above.)
Lastly, (and gloatingly) I got two tickets to see Conan O’Brien in LA the day after E3! Hasty, Hodges and I just missed getting tickets to see him in New York when we were there last year, so this will be an extra special treat. I’ll do my best to hold up a Southern Gamer sign on TV… or something.
