In case you haven’t noticed, Red Dead Redemption is so good! I have to admit that it flew under my radar due to its association with the previous lackluster game, but upon Hasty’s recommendation and reading the myriad of reviews online, I have to admit that I am fully on-board this speeding train of awesome – in more ways than one as is evidenced in one of the below videos.
One thing that immediately irked me about the game was the unskippable cutscene that plays upon harvesting the hide of the poor little critters you will inevitably kill en masse. Luckily, I found a little work-around that makes this looting process much faster. Check it out below:
I also discovered this funny little glitch while attempting to get the “Dastardly” achievement. I’m not sure yet if its repeatable, so I’m glad I had my capture device running when it happened.
God bless that super-loyal horse, even if he can’t jump over a fence on his own.
Update: The train glitch is repeatable and appears to work whether you are placing the victim on your horse or taking him/her off. The second time I tried this it actually teleported the horse with the hog-tied person still perched on its rump onto the train as well – although they both almost immediately fell off.
