Welcome to Southern Gamer!

Howdy there, you gahl-dern internets, and welcome to Southern Gamer. My name is Scad (well, not literally, but let’s just pretend for now) and I’ll be your guide on this crazy tour of a (few) southerner’s perspective on games, the internets, and whatever else I gahl-dernin’ want to yap about.
Deal with and/or get used to it.
So, here’s what you’ll begin finding here soon:

• Unbiased and often (not promising anything here) enjoyable opinions on… stuff.
• A weekly podcast enumerating those opinions – all with endearing or annoying southern accents.
• Hasty’s (my co-hort in this whole ordeal) mind-bending thoughts on whatever the hell he’s thinking about at this very moment.
• Fiscal Sanity.
• And eventually, Webcam Wednesdays – a feature where you’ll be able to watch Hasty and I on two webcams (showing off our dual living room setup — yes, I know… we’re awesome) as we play in multiplayer sessions with you guys (and gals?)!

I’m sure as Southern Gamer matures and grows in popularity (it’s basically a forgone conclusion, you know) we’ll come up with more things to talk about. But until then, bookmark us, come back often, and try not to lose your mind when reading my colleague’s upcoming post(s).
